- STATUS: Only the post with the very bottom piece of what was once a "Juniata River" marker remained here. Both the post and the bottom remnant were utilized in the restoration of a "Shermans Creek" marker now installed in Shermansdale (Perry Co.)
The Juniata, a major tributary of the Susquehanna, flows through several PA counties. The lower photo, recently obtained in a 1940s - 50s collection, is of one of the signs at crossings.
