Clair Clawser (Memorial)


  • COORDINATES: Mr. Clawser is buried in the Mount Anneville Cemetery, in Annville PA, Lebanon County. Coordinates here are for cemetery area.
  • STATUS: This memorial marker to Mr. Clawser is most appropriate, as he was one of, if not THE, first person to begin to document the Keystone Markers that still existed. Beginning in 1970, he began publishing small booklets about the signs, and published updated such books for many years. t Two of those are pictured herein. Mr. Clawser's work was a major inspiration for the creation of the Keystone Marker Trust.
