Bermudian Creek (Storage)

  • COUNTY: Adams
  • MANUFACTURER: Maker names have never been found on a stream marker
  • SHAPE: Typical double-sided marker for top-mount post
  • STATUS: Found in PennDot storage area in 2012. One corner was broken off but has been repaired. This marker was transferred to Huntington Township, Adams County, to replace the one stolen from the PA Route 34 crossing at Idaville.

Marker was repaired by KMT, and then painted by the Bermudian Springs High School tech students.  A post was supplied by KMT.  Post and marker were intended to replace the marker and post that were along Route 34 at Idaville.  Sign was stolen;  PennDot contractor “lost” post when the bridge was replaced.

Sadly, after seven years this post and marker still sit in the Huntington Township maintenance shed awaiting installation.  The post still needs painting.  As of April 2023 the new township Roadmaster appears to have some interest in getting this sign/post installed.  Time will tell.
