Sign-less post that once held the Rock Creek marker
photo from R. C. Heagey collection, circa 1950.
Rock Creek (Adams Co.) (1)
- COORDINATES: 39.834756, -77.219703
- COUNTY: Adams
- MANUFACTURER: Maker of the post and the marker that was once on it are unknown.
- STATUS: Located at the eastern edge of Gettysburg Borough, the marker that was once here could not be located. Post was removed by Straban Township and will be used by KMT to remount a "Bermudian Creek" marker elsewhere in Adams Co. 1950s photo appears to show a wooden replica that may have replaced the original Iron one.
