- DISTANCE TO NEXT: Mifflintown - 28 (Unusual for the "next town" noted to be so far away, especially since towns in between also had markers.
- EXPLANATION OF NAME: Originally Called Straubstown For Founder, Andrew Straub
- FOUNDED: 1796
- MANUFACTURER: Carlisle Foundry Company
- SHAPE: Standard 1-sided
- STATUS: This marker had been installed at the wrong end of town. Thus it has been removed and was reinstalled at the North/East end of town. A reclaimed post from a missing marker site was be provided by KMT.
