US Route 40  (The National Road)
Farmington, PA

This type of directional marker was once common;  almost all standard “highway” signage in the 1920s used these iron keystones. This marker notes distances to Uniontown PA, Grantsville and Cumberland, MD, and to Columbus, OH.
